DePasquale Lab

The Younger Lab, led by Meg Younger, studies olfaction in mosquitoes: how they detect and encode human odor, and how this drives their search for a host. They combine neurophysiology, anatomy, genetics, and behavior, including CRISPR-based labeling of neuron types, functional imaging, and electron microscopy of the mosquito brain. We collaborate on machine learning models of odorant-receptor interactions. Learn more about their research.

From our lab: Grant McConachie and Emily Duniec have collaborated with the Younger Lab on odorant-receptor models.
